About the Author
K. Rajan, Professor, Department of History, Pondicherry University, Puducherry, is a well-known archaeologist of India. He made an indelible mark through his archaeological discoveries and excavations. He has completed twenty-four research projects and published ten books and seventy-five research papers.
N. Athiyaman, Professor, Centre for Underwater Archaeology, Tamil University, Thanjavur is a trained underwater SCUBA diver. He has completed four research projects and published eight books and forty research articles.
